About Me

Kathryn McDonald Consultancy was established in June 2025.

I have over 20 years experience of working in the voluntary sector for over 100 not for profit organisations and charities.

I enjoy writing funding applications and helping charities to not just sustain but grow their services by providing strategic support.

My experience includes volunteering for charities, sitting on Trustee Boards and working with charities to maximise their income. I am committed to making a difference to the most vulnerable in society.

Over the years I have achieved well in excess of £6 million for a range of different capital, revenue and core cost projects. These have been for churches, environmental charities, health & wellbeing charities, cancer charities, children’s charities, NHS Hospital charities and advice services, amongst others. In addition I have developed fundraising strategies which have enabled charities to increase their income.

Based in Suffolk, I support charities across the UK and beyond.
